In addition to the stuff mentioned, I also stick a water bottle in the freezer overnight to bring with me the next day. Keeps the food cold/fresh and I get yummy ice cold water almost all day :)

I live nowhere near you but I'd also suggest checking google maps around your area and looking for bodies of water. You can try street viewing them as well to save you some gas :P

Nope not a sculpin. The first thing I checked for was the black spot and the fused bottom fin. I'm going to email the info to the MRN in Qc.
