Carp Fishing 101

Hey Guys,

So I just lost another carp today at Ashbridges Bay. I tend to loose many carp. They aren't what I typically would target but this season seems like I run into them everywhere I go and can usually entice them to bite.

I know there's lots of info online about carp fishing, but I'd learn more from fishing with someone who knows what they are doing! If there are any fishermen out there that could teach me some carp fishing techniques and have experience catching and landing them, I would definitely appreciate it!

I know lots of spots in the GTA area that I always spot them, and a few spots where I can usually get them to bite within 30 minutes (no waiting all day for me!)

Basically I'm looking for a Carp fishing tutor of sorts
