Dialing in on whitefishes

My family had cottages in the Dwight/Dorset area for 30+ years, and I did try fishing occasionally in the area small streams and rivers during the winters.

Never had any luck in most of the Oxtongue River, other than one spot at Marsh's Falls - and that was a one hit wonder I think.

Did have some luck in the smaller spring fed creeks - typically immediately behind/below a significant current obstruction or vertical drop/cascade to a pool.
