Got out at Deschennes
I didn't expect to catch anything fishing at the Deschennes Lookout so early in the season, but I did get two bites... damn it... rusty reflexes so missed them both (got one almost all the way in).
Hey... it's enough for me to say "open water season has begun!" |

The water temp must still be cold and the ice in the bays was still bad last time I drove by. Glad someone is giing it a go.

Last year we started to get a few suckers right around this time, especially on the evening of sunny days where the water was slightly warmed up in the shallows.
