Definitely not the same price as fishing in Hawaii or Florida...

A look on Google will show you that most Butterfly Peacock are caught with subsurface presentation...and X-Raps catch a good fraction of the fish.

If you want surface action...try fishing a Zara Puppy or Zara Spook for barracuda...that is WAY MORE exciting than topwater peacock bass. The ferocity of the attack and the ensuing runs and occasional jumps are 10x better. There is really no comparison between the speed of a barracuda and the speed of butterfly peacock...a barracuda wins any day.
