From what I've heard it is fishable, with some nice pike, but parking is just about non-existent, can't remember where the nearest spot is.

Could get ticketed for that, it's signed 'no parking' all along both sides.

As I know and from what I found on the web, it's better for ice fishing because of the lack of access points. Check this out:

RE: Haynes Lake Oak Ridges
Hi folks, I just stumbled on this lake on Bing Maps & Google earth, while doing some research for something else. I have read your posts and read the BlogSpot from Deadfisher.. Kalebspaa posted he called the Town of Richmond Hill and said they told him he could fish the lake. Well I saw on Google earth a name of a resort there, so clicking on their website. Oakviewterrace . com .. their home page has:

The perfect setting for that perfect day
Oakview Terrace offers a setting of elegance and charm for your exclusive use. Our picturesque gardens, outdoor chapel and terraces overlooking our private lake provide the perfect setting for any occasion.

They state there it is a Private Lake so can anyone really figure this one out, I would like to give this small lake a shot in the future, either ice fishing or shore. Thanks for any future input.
