RE: Heading To Jacksons Point
I have read that spring perch basically lie on the bottom as the water warms. I have caught about ~6 small/medium ones at 3 different locations this spring that would seem to support this assertion.
I was looking for Crappie at different depths and was using a worm tipped jig (1/32 - 1/16, with a 1.5 - 2 inch tube) and this assertion still seems to hold. Right near the bottom on all accounts. I don't know your water and have only landed jumbo perch in the fall. So take this free advice is worth all you paid for it |
