Lamprey Spawning Runs?

Lamprey Spawning Runs?
It just occured to me today, while watching salmon jumping around with lamprey's attached, that these guys run up the streams to spawn as well!

Wondering if anyone has ever seen lampreys spawning in any of the tribs? That would be a sight...

Yes - in the late spring I saw them many times in lower Bronte Creek - back in the early 1980's.

I do remember one year in the Optimist Park shallow gravel flats there were hundreds of them.

I'm sure some still do go up there,.......... and the Credit. We will never be rid of them.
