Maybe Vegas....
Found out today that I may be off to Vegas for a week in June for the Infocomm 2012 tradeshow, I should know for certain by the end of this week.

This could mean some fishing on Lake Mead and at Willow Beach on the Colorado river....Sweeeet! Big Grin

What's in the Colorado River that you'll be interested in catching?

Malama o ke kai

Caution - Objects in picture are smaller than they appear. I am genetically predisposed to make fish look bigger.

Life List: 577 species and counting (2016: 91 new species)

RE: Maybe Vegas....
Trip is confirmed! Just booked myself in at the venetian for a week.

I usually go to a place called willow beach on the Arizona side of the river about ten miles south of Hoover dam.

There's a trout hatchery there, and aside from being able to catch the released trout, the trout bring in BIG stripers, up to 40lbs+ You can rent a boat and travel upriver to right below the dam, and then drift back down spinning for stripers.

Above the hoover dam Lake mead has good striper fishing, but also has awesome Carp fishing (believe it or not!) You can take a 10-15lb Carp on a piece of popcorn in any of the marinas, bigger ones out on the drop offs.
