You can catch a 20-30 pounder on two or three pieces of corn on a hook.... The only piece of gear I use that is a MUST have is my net, I cant get a huge ass Carp out of the water on 4 or 6lb line without a net. http://www.fishingtoronto.com |

I have an exam a few days after the meet-up, so I am not 100% sure if I can make it but I'm going to try to fit it in.

Here're some details! OSF Carping Meet-Up!
I'm going to be taking the 8am Center Island Ferry on Saturday April 14. Feel free to join in! Bring your (fishing-licensed) friends! If you're coming from the Markham area we can car pool, pm me! If you plan on arriving later in the day, pm me and I can give you my number in case we change spots. Here's the spot we'll be fishing: http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=toronto+isl...le.webcams EDIT: We're going to be setting-up on the south side of Long Pond: Weather permitting, I'll be available to fish the whole day. Ferry schedule: http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island/ferry-schedule.htm Center island ferry runs 8am, 9am and then every 30 minutes.
