Thank you, have you ever caught bass>12" on spinners of those sizes?

What's typically the first lure you guys think to use when you arrive at a pond and are targeting largemouth bass?

My first lure is always my spinners. Mepps Aglia Size 0-3. And yes I have caught many bass 12"+ on those spinners.

I caught this guy using a size 1.

I have caught 18" bass in a PMartin spinner that's smaller than size 0 mepps. silver blade. size 0 pmartin is the smallest spinner i've seen. next is 0black fury. works just as good. the difference between the silver blade pmartin and black fury is night and day. clear water i'd go for black fury. murky silver / gold all the time.

I caught a largemouth bass about 8" long last month on a size 2 vibrax so I guess a wide range of sizes would attack the same lure. I thought the opposite was best to do, use dark colours during murky/overcast periods and silver during clear situations. I guess I'll have to try this out for myself.
