This is the cleanup............ things were worse ten years ago.
Slowly the bay and the lake are recovering from the neglect and abuse resulting from the activities of heavy industry, chemical plants, poor sewage treatment plants, and consumer product plants located around the bay in the past. The Randall Reef clean up is a MAJOR step in making things better. It can be done. Look at the progress made at Sydney's Tar Pond on Cape Breton island. OT <>< I once gave up fishing.
