Round vs Low-profile baitcasters
I've been meaning to give baitcasting a try for a while and see how I like it. Something tells me I'll go back to spinning, but we'll see I want to try it for the heck of it.
I love being able to toss light lures, it would be a shame to loose that ability. With 6lb mono on my spinning outfit I can easily cast a simple white grub on a hook. I'm eyeing the BPS Pro Qualifier Left or the Abu C3 4601. Probrably not going to buy anything soon, but thinking about it. I read here and there that low-profile baitcasters cast lighter lures better. I guess it depends on what they put in there, the type of breaking system, dual breaking etc... |
