I have a short and small net, but it's better than no net.

Definitely bring it, better than my trout net LOL Smile

I also have experience landing carp without using a net... but it involves rubber boots and plucking them from the water LOL

It's raining outside, the weather forecast said "Mainly cloudy. A few showers this morning then 40 percent chance of showers late this morning and early this afternoon. Wind southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50. High 17." hope it will stop early this afternoon.

And this time we had the right sized landing net!

This year's pike opener weekend, we were targeting pike at Tommy Thompson Park. Prime89 hooked a monster carp - 40 lb range we're sure - on an xrap (chased the lure or snagged over the head not sure) and we didn't have anything big enough to land it!

The irony!!! LOL
