If anybody wants to meet up at Milne one evening, I'm free almost any evening this week. Just let me know.

I haven't been there in a month, the carp must be active by now Tongue.

Hi Michael, my friend had been there last Saturday morning for 2 hours and he caught a 1 lb white sucker.

RE: Milne Dam Markham this week
I'm probably heading there Wednesday evening around 5 or 6pm. I usually park at the local school and walk in, that way I don't have to leave by 9pm.

Anybody in?

Shoot, no carp. What was he using? Which part of the park?

The carp I caught there this year were mostly pre-spawn and they were LOVING worms. I tried for a week during spawning and found one lonely carp that took a worm.

I haven't fished there since after the spawn... so I'm not sure what will work there.

edit: I can't remember exactly, but they spawned in May. Most of my carp this year were pre-spawn carp, it's almost as if they're more active then.... strange Confused

Maybe Sunfish, but definitely no Crappie there. Crappie are mostly found in lakes besides a few exceptions. If you're fishing Milne try for Carp or Catfish that's really all that's there

I think fishing Carp and Catfish is like a cast-and-wait style. not very interesting for me now.
