Have you played with Fish-On Line?
http://www.web2.mnr.gov.on.ca/fish_onlin...er_en.html It has info on many Ontario lakes............. a small % also have hydrographic (depth profiles). Your "Professors Lake" is not listed but thousands more are. Takes a while to get the gist of using it, but it can be helpful. Tip - I've noticed that sometimes it won't show depth contours when selected.......... then the next time you visit - it does............. apparently an "undocumented" feature.............. <>< I once gave up fishing.
