Im hoping to get something big enough to snap a rod sometime , just so i can earn uber fisherman title.

I've been doing a lot of fishing with my $10 shimano rod/reel combo, Don't think i'd be too heartbroken if it shattered.

Great (read: frugal) minds think alike! This is the rod I bought for Florida... a heavy beast of a rod. Did very well at throwing heavy lead into the abyss.

Warning though, the front guide came loose and I found it nudging up to my slip sinker... so throw some extra epoxy on there before it happens to you! I got lucky...

20 bucks Wink
Thanks for the tip. I'll check mine.

Good practice to try and use hot glue for tip tops....else it makes things tougher getting them off if they need replacement.
