Great fish Insta. IMO not flossed or lined, usually that happens on the bottom part of the jaw and usually closer to the corner but whatever it may be, awesome fish and video, keep it up!

And please share more.
Thanks!!
I'll keep posting in this thread for future vids and pics.
Definitely an interesting thread. Glad to see my pictures from spring popping up again, MB . I need to haul my busy self out to the river soon... instapump is making me jealous! While spring steelies are great, they're not chromed out like the ones posted here... but I've only caught 1 chromed-out fall steelhead before.
Trouble is I don't have any roe . They will bite on other things in the Fall though. The one I caught had somebody else's white tube jig inside its mouth.
I couldn't bring myself to dice a hen this season... and am regretting it because I have loads of the "secret sauce" to cure it with. Maybe somebody who's doing well can shoot me some extra lol

I got some roe but after going for steelhead up north, I now realize I do not have enough. Maybe a trip out east soon for a roe day is in order? Let me know if you want to go, it's way easier for two people to get roe. One lands the fish and keeps it in the water, the other holds a bag, then catch all the eggs that fall out and return her back to the river alive and well. No need to cut them open when they are super zombie level.

I managed to get a couple loose eggs 2 days ago. But I wish I knew about collecting eggs earlier into the season.

Yea, 2 people is a must if you want to return the fish safely.
In an effort to learn some things from you guys, and having never fished steelheads before.. if that meet happens and you two are cool with it.. it'd be awesome if i can tag along. I've never even seen a steelhead aside from pics.. so it'd be an experience.
