Hey CanucksKin,

Welcome to the OSF forum.

Boats are great - had many along the way, and still do .......... prefer shore fishing.

Cheers,

OldTimer

Agree with OT. Boats are great...but I still prefer shore fishing.

You don't always need a boat to catch great fish. In fact, most of my 715 species, and many of my biggest, were caught from shore.

Shore fishing may seemed limiting at first, but when you spend time to pattern the fish, it can be quite challenging and extremely rewarding.

And...sometimes...the lakes and ocean almost seems too vast for you to decided where to start and where to fish. For shore fishing, choices are often more obvious and easier to make as truly good shore spots are often limited.
yes. i like shore fishing also.
but being out on the water is a whole different ball game.

having recently only gotten back into fishing, i have to start finding good shoreline to fish from.
thats why i'm here....lol

looking forward to getting some tips/hints and watching others here on the forum.

good luck !
