anyone interested in making a group outing to the rouge at the zoo??
Meet at the Meadowvale rd bridge, just walk down to the river from there.
Times could be decided but I am not picky as to how early we start, Fishing seems to be good there at this point in time, for some reason the river north of steeles just doesnt have the same abundance of options.
Whos interested? I need to get my new insulated chest waders tested out in the water...
~Jeremy.
I'd be interested but I'll have to see if I can get a ride before I confirm.

Giuga,
There Are many members of this board here that could possibly hook you up with a ride if they are also planning to go for the trip..
Or maybe your pops would like to come fishing too??
Who else Is interested in this meetup?
Im Suggesting floating or bottom bouncing ROE Sacks are the trick for this area....
~Jeremy
I am interested, maybe this will be the last run in 2012.
I'll come with you guys on Saturday, Giuga10 I can give you a lift if it's OK with your ma/pop.
Hey guys, so my dad is good to drive me down but I have a few questions.
Is the meetup still happening?
What time are we meeting up?
I don't have waders so will I still be able to fish from shore, I have some boots that will allow me to walk in shallower parts but will shore fishing be available?
Who's coming?
and
What would be the best way to catch a fish there? Fly fishing, Spinning, Float, Roe Sack, Worm etc...... I've got lot's of gear for almost all types of fishing so what would increase my chances of my first Bow?
Thanks,
Giuga10
I will go.
Since the weather is so cold, I believe the fishes will bite after 9 o'clock. so I think I will reach there at 8 am-8:30 am.
In my opinion, float fishing at the bank is the most effective way in the river for steelhead and brown. and a wader is not necessary, a pair of boots is fine enough.

Ill be bringing and using my Spin rod/reel, With roe sack under a float...
Onwind is correct its most likely the best way to get hooked into a Bow...
See you guys on the river tomorrow.
~Jeremy
Can anyone tell me what's the coordination of this spot in GPS? and where can I park my car?
I'm coming as well
see ya guys there at 8:30? Jeremy, what time are you planning on showing up?
edit:
Actually which bridge are you talking about Jeremy? The one North past Old Finch?
http://goo.gl/maps/jqWI5 I'm pretty sure Jeremy means that bridge, because there's plenty of parking at the trail head.
