It does, however, hinder the ability of those of us without cars to enjoy the sport.
Update from Dave (Tangledline) on this situation....
The MNR are talking to all parties involved, including the Harbroufront Centre to get clarification on the issues, and try to protect fishing rights as much as possible. Everyone is asked to give them some time and space without confronting the issue.

Thats a positive step.
If I were you, I'd be trying to establish a meeting between the 3 parties.
Or in the very least, asking for transcripts of the talks between the MNR/harbourfront.
Also, I'd be getting names on who is talking to who??? When you say the MNR, who is representing them???
In a process like this, it's very important to keep track of these sorts of things.
Dave got the information from Wil Wegman at MNR. They are keeping Dave in the loop, as he is the one that was harrased and threatened by HarbourFront Centre Security. I won't be trying to get in on this. I'll stick with my plan B if we dont get anywhere.

Good stuff. I'm watching anxiously.

He seems better connected than our average Joe.
I have sent a message to David Chong (who wrote the above report) -sharing a link to this thread in hopes that our information may be of use in his side of fighting this issue.
I have also sent information on this issue to the FishingForever organization.
Perhaps they may wish to get involved as well - considering it may hamper achieving some of thier goals.
