Welcome, Stephen!

How old is your daughter?

I don't think it'll matter which fish you target first. Just go out there with some worms and a bobber and get her to catch the first fish and she'll want to catch the second and voila, you've got her.. err.. hooked (hah!).

Welcome to OSF Stephen.

Some of the past posts and articles here should help get you on the right track.

Cheers,

Thames River near Keil Dr and 5 St are good places to try. Walk around and find out.
