Meat on a burbot - MichaelAngelo - 02-17-2014 08:25 PM Just checking out this video and was surprised by how little meat there is on burbot! Woah, must have big organs! RE: Meat on a burbot - MuskieBait - 02-18-2014 11:16 AM Burbot has a relatively pretty big gut area with not very meaty tail compared to other fish. RE: Meat on a burbot - tweedwolfscream - 02-18-2014 02:55 PM I think burbot have huge livers, which are super rich in vitamin A and D. Gut a haul of burbot and leave the livers in the bush for the foxes, and you'll be doing the local trapper a favour: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rowell_Laboratories,_Inc. RE: Meat on a burbot - Eli - 02-20-2014 10:34 AM You don't get a pile of meat but what you do get is delicious. Not sure what everyone likes to skin them. I've found skinning them is a bit of a hassle. They can be filleted just like any other fish.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXCHczqKxqA RE: Meat on a burbot - Eli - 02-21-2014 12:10 AM (02-20-2014 10:34 AM)Eli Wrote: You don't get a pile of meat but what you do get is delicious.
