Looking for a Bivvy or Brolly - FrenchCarper - 04-23-2014 08:33 AM I went to check my bivvy this mourning and noticed a small tear in it. Could anyone point in a direction of purchasing a new one or a brolly. Its a portable quick stand shelter I believe you guys call it. I would prefer to purchase in person rather than online. Haven't seen any in stores, lots available locally online. Your best bet would be to contact the guys at CAG (Carp Anglers Group) in Hamilton, they may have local contacts. http://www.carpanglersgroup.com/forum/index.php?/forum/120-ontario/ Be careful of using a full bivvy in any of the city parks, as they may consider it camping, which is not allowed. RE: Looking for a Bivvy or Brolly - MuskieBait - 04-23-2014 11:08 AM If it is only a small tear, I would try to repair it. Mountain Equipment Co-op in Toronto sells various repair patches. Let me know if you are interested and I can suggest some options. DO NOT ORDER FROM KARP KIT. I've had a bad experience with them and so have a few buddies of mine. |
