Too Good Pond is a good place if you want a fight with carp. Use canned corn and chum the area where you cast the line. Better hold that rod tight and left the drag out because those carp sure bolt for thier lives. Canned corn seems to always gets them nibbling. Mix in a worm or triple mix it with a worm/mini marshmellow/canned corn to cover all bases.

Waldon Pond beside Markville Mall is also a good place for carp, catfish and sunfish. Apparently bass are there as well. Fish my the bridge. Many elder asian gentleman keep pulling out like 3-7lb'ers all the time there. Behind the bridge is a river that connects to the Rouge River and I have caught a rock bass there.

Check out Bluffer's Park (Scarborough Bluffs) some time, especially the channels between the yacht club and the mainland. All sorts of panfish, small bass, some good sized pike, bullhead, and of course the occasional herd of carp. Great place to see fish even when they're not biting, which of course you can learn a lot from. In the fall there were salmon and brown trout, which are harder to catch.
