Fishes of Canada's National Capital Region (Ottawa and parts of Quebec) - zippyFX - 05-30-2014 02:46 PM This is a very handy resource for identifying and targeting fish in the Ottawa area. It is a very authoritative list with lots of information by Brian W. Coad for the Canadian Museum of Nature. It details fish species found within a 50km radius of Parliament (currently 84) http://www.briancoad.com/ncr/contentsncr.htm RE: Fishes of Canada's National Capital Region (Ottawa and parts of Quebec) - OldTimer - 05-30-2014 02:56 PM Handy.......................... it's spectacular!................ added to my favorites. Thanks for sharing................... Lots of great stuff here to help ID fish..... and also to aid in targeting a lot of different species. Love the sucker spawning shots, and the close-ups of the log perch. Cheers, OldTimer RE: Fishes of Canada's National Capital Region (Ottawa and parts of Quebec) - MuskieBait - 05-30-2014 04:46 PM Very cool list. Nothing out of the ordinary...aside from Arctic Char and Pygmy Smelt! Eli and zippy...want to try for Arctic Char? |
