Choosing ice rods - MichaelAngelo - 01-20-2013 11:07 PM I found this nifty article that put some ideas in my head: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPage?catalogId=10001&mode=article&objectID=30779&storeId=10151 What are your thoughts guys? RE: Choosing ice rods - MuskieBait - 01-21-2013 09:33 AM Agree on everything said in that article. I have 2 St. Croix Premier rods primarily used for jigging, and 2 Shakespeare UglyStik that I'll use for livebait fishing or when I need a slightly heavier rod. I also have a light action Berkley Lightning stick for perch and an ultralight action for fishing tiny jigs for panfish. I don't have tip-up or flags...just don't like them too much... |
