Hey guys im planning to head up to holland landing/cooks bay not sure of the ice conditions but i heard it all the ice should be gone this weekend, i was wondering if you guys know any spots i can fish off shore?

If I were you, I would try some rivermouth areas. Area with some current usually has thinner ice and the ice clears out first. If you're looking for open areas, that's your best bet.
The mouth of Holland River can be decent at times.

Thanks muskiebait going to get out and try it because i really dont want to rent an ice auger.

You can RENT an auger!?!? Can you rent a gas auger?! Gosh this would have saved me heaps of work the past 2 weekends LOL

Went out on Good Friday to the Holland River and Skunked, anybody Have any other spots on Simcoe where I can Fish and maybe get some Perch?
