It's actually quite simple. AirCanada took us from Ottawa to Yellowknife Airport with a short layover in Calgary. Nothing was rented as my buddy has his own boat which was used for the Great Slave portion of the trip, and a truck which we all sat in for the road trip portion. My wife and I slept in a tent. No resorts; we stayed in campgrounds along the highway. AirCanada brought us back to Ottawa from Whitehorse, through Vancouver.
