Hey OT,
The first one could possibly work. Since you do more casting with the tenkara rod, especially when drifting dry flies, a heavy rod is not preferrable. It really depends if those rods are light in weight or not. You really just need to attach a leader to the end of the rod. I don't think the fly line is really necessary.
