Half way through your epic cali report!
Big rockfish, gorgeous canary!! go go fillet-o-rockfish! Happy you got your lingcod! What gorgeous fish they are... it's something else watching them underwater from a scuba perspective! Glad you had a good time on the party boat. Randy's wasn't all that... cranky deckhand... not having release clips was insanely stupid. I would watch people catch canary rockfish and then throw them overboard. Of course, they couldn't swim away due to barotrama and the pelicans would eat them within seconds... such a pathetic, senseless situation!!! Argh... anyways... guys don't support Randy's!! About the aquarium.. the big pelagic tank was absolutely meszermizing!! My first time ever seeing live tuna, unforgettable. Mmmmmm poke LOL Thanks to Thomas, I'm so happy to have discovered poke!! Garibaldi! You got one! Gorgeous fish!! Good for you "accidentally" dropping that undersized fish over the side. One day I'd like to "accidentally" trip over someone's bucket full of out of season bass. I also encountered people trying to fish, not catching anything, and then wondering why I'm catching more than them. I was simply using smaller hooks... that's all  .
