RE: Greetings from Kingston!
Lived in Kingston for two years.
The mouth of the Little Cataraqui Creek is a good spot for just about any warm water species that swims in Lake Ontario, depending on the time of year. You can park your car right where you fish. Kingston Mills is hit and miss. There is a small salmon run every fall if you're into that sort of thing. This time of year it's all the usual suspects. Walk the piers adjacent to the mouth of the Little Cataraqui Creek to get into some deep water. I've caught carp there and have seen some big (and I mean BIG) drum. Don't bother trying without a long, sturdy net. |
