RE: McDonald's
It's okay...keep believing what you believe. If you think the packaged food or food products that are consumed by most households everyday (chewing gum, chips, soft drinks, chocolate bars, granola bars, pasta sauce...etc) is any better for you and not laden with additives, preservatives, artificial flavours and artificial colour...you're just kidding yourself. When you look at snacks and the first few ingredients are water, salt, sugar, and oils...that says a lot...and follow with modified this and hydrogenated that...

Yeah, I do like my McDonald's...occasionally at home, or as a place where I can at least get consistent food in a hurry when traveling...but I cook 90% of the time at home with nothing but market ingredients...so I do know what is real food and what's not.

McDonald's is not the greatest, but still not the evil people make of it.

Funny you say that...because the court actually convicted someone of vandalism in Vancouver after the Stanley Cup game based on an amateur video off YouTube.

Also, if McDonald's made these videos promoting their products (in this case their burger patties are 100% beef) and if their products are empirically tested to be not 100% beef, then these videos will hold up in a court of law...because it would then be used as evidence for false advertisement...the court case, legal fees and settlement will likely not hurt McDonald's too much...but a tarnished brand image and bad publicity...now that's hard to recover. Do you think, a successful and long standing empire like McDonald's will so lightly make claims of their product with so much on the line? It's one thing to say absolutely nothing about their products and to not reveal bad ingredients (which is fine if no one asks)...it's another to falsely advertise their food ingredients because the backlash will be devastating...and McDonald's is not stupid.
