When next we go, I may decide to bring the canoe along. It would open up a lot of shoreline to our angling exploits and allow us to sample the apex predators...which I'm guessing are chain and/or grass pickerel.

I read they are Chain Pickerel from sampling reports, but I've not landed on yet. I've hooked them on the tenkara rod in the past but the 2lb tippet simply wasn't going to hold against their teeth.
