you can try in lakefield....in town there is a bridge right by the lock.....i've never fished there before but it looks like it could be a decent spot from shore.... |

I don't know the area that well but I fished the river running through town last time I was their; there were bass, likley some pike as well.... There are picnic areas periodically and boat launches. ... |

From over 15 years of personal experience, most of the fish caught with roe bags, beads and flies are flossed/lined. Only on the odd occasion do I see a salmon chase down a roe bag or hit a fly aggres... |

Those are Salmon. Don't use braid as the fish will see it. Use fluorocarbon line. To target them try beads, roe, and flies (wooly buggers work great). |

Welcome to the forum...I fish Milne & Toogood Pond for bass...but as bass is closing soon. I usually go south for pike or East for steelhead or just hang around markham/scarborough for some steelh... |
