A week from today
A week from today………….

A week from today 10% of the anglers who went fishing will have caught 90% of the fish actually landed.

A week from today 90% of the anglers who went fishing will report losing 900% of the fish actually lost this day. Many would have been new province, or world records.

A week from today, in Ontario, approximately a quarter million worms will die, or be awaiting imminent death.

A week from today gravity will spike – hence making normally 1 pound fish weigh 4 pounds…etc…

A week from today 60% of the anglers will discover the wisdom in re-spooling with new line and doing some light servicing/lubricating/tightening of the connections of one’s reel……….. Few will remember next year.

A week from today 75% of the wading anglers will discover “new” leaks in their waders.

A week from today a piping hot Timmy’s coffee and old fashioned plain doughnut will be “absolooootlee friggin’ delicious” and be guarded by one’s life by skillfully using your fillet knife and fish club in Ninja Crane style moves .

**

A week from today should be adventure, fun, smiles and good memories……. It’s up to you.

…smile.

Cheers,

OldTimer

RE: A week from today
Based on last year's observation...

A week from today 90% of anglers will be concentrated in 10% of the fishable trout water.

A week from today 90% of the trout will be harassed and unfairly hooked in that 10% of water.

A week from today those 90% of angler will be frustrated at each other with line tangles and intrusion of personal space.

A week from today 75% of the trout landed will be slaughtered.

A week from today 50% of males will be cut open with the assumption that he was a "hen".

A week from today only 25% of the redds will remain virgin and undisturbed.

A week from today forum traffic would have peaked to record level with 100% of lurkers trying to find out the best location to swarm.

About 51 weeks ago we found fish in 100% of every good looking area.

About 51 weeks ago we probably caught 90% of the fish in every good area.

About 51 weeks ago we didn't know why 90% of anglers want to hang out with each other...but we didn't mind at all.

About 51 weeks ago we wondered why we woke up so early and got to the stream before dawn...because it really didn't matter.

About 51 weeks ago 99% of the anglers had gone home and we were still fishing and still catching.

About 51 weeks ago we were 100% suffering from sleep deprivation.

About 51 weeks ago we were 100% certain there was nowhere we would rather be and nothing else we would rather be doing.

A week from today I hope to avoid all the googans and find some peace and quiet with my good buddy Matt and MA...hopefully have a pool of fish to our own...if you were not invited, we'll chase you off our spot Tongue

A week from today, if our spot is complete flustercuck, we'll just hike even further and explore even more new waters...if the stream is too crowded, we'll call it a day early and we'll fish again when you're at work...we'll definitely get away from that flustercuck...because we don't want ALL OF YOU around disturbing our peace and quiet and our good time.

6 days from today you will be 100% missed.

You should come down the weekend after...it should still be very good.
