I guess government officials like to drink the tar from the oil sands and they like to swim in heavy water.

To celebrate this "special occasion", I just poured some PMSF and acrylamide down the drain. I can also pour some antibiotics, drugs and hormones down the drain too...just ask and I have them in the lab...and be ready to do my patriotic duty to pollute our country's waterways...since the government doesn't want to protect them anymore and it is okay to do it according to them.
