Yep - I originally learned this rig in Florida - my father used it for pompano fishing in the surf with sea fleas or cut clams.

... And as you say MuskieBait, one must keep the dropper lines short enough so they can't reach each other. Or you will get bad tangles.

I usually tie on the lower hook and then make the upper one a tad shorter - find this helps on the cast.
