I'm heading there this weekend - Are the perch still there? What do you use to catch 'em? Minnows? Worms? Plastics?

It's getting a bit late for good perch fishing. The bigger fish may have moved out deeper. You may get bass or sheepshead this time of year.

We use minnows there.

Keep your bait off the bottom ............ unless you like catching lottsa goby.

I've been Port Maitland Rd 2 times but didn't get any perch. May be there this Wed and try my luck. I'll use nightcrawler.
