Milne Dam Markham
Hey,

Nice site Michael!.. I was down at milne today for a bit, got a bite on my 5 of diamonds spoon, i saw the fish but the water was so murky, couldnt make out what kind of fish it was. ive only seen catfish and carp caught there..mabe theres pike..w.e it was..it was a decent size..and hit pretty hard.

would love to hear other reports from ppl fishing here, its the only way to find out how this body of water is. i had no idea of getting a bite today, i just went down for the reason of research and it went well.

cheers.

RE: Milne Dam Markham
Nice to see you on here! Thanks again for the husky jerk Smile, I just changed the hooks up.

I was just there an hour ago, scouting it out in the dark because I was driving by. Wondering if i'd bump into illegal trout fishermen lol.

Too bad you lost the fish, it may have been a trout. They should be in there this time of year.

I wonder how it'd go if MNR shows, because if one has fishing gear with them they could be considered fishing for trout, which is out of season north of Kingston Rd.

Can anybody chime in about this?

RE: Milne Dam Markham
Oh I see, could have been a trout. when's trout open?
Well I got there like 2 ish ..there was a guy who was carping, said the mnr officer was there earlie
r during the day.

Well according to the urban fishing pdf file I read by the ministry, it said pike are common at milne, so I don't thinktheyl say non. Unless they see u keeping one or actually fishing for trout. I actually went back right before sunset and this father and son told me theres a buncha fish down stream they saw.

Np man..I had like two of the same colour, not a prob.
Yeh good thing u changed the hooks. hopefully its going to get you ur biggest pike ever! LOL
