these smaller carp i have fun all the time. they go after nightcrawlers as well (even when float fishing). Whenever I see them I stop float fishing because I use light lines and I've lost too many bobbers when hooked. I go for trout and bass on the pools. But once the carp comes in...they're pretty game as well.
