WTB: Float rod

Short of repairing my grandpa's old 9 1/2 foot salmon rod, I'm in the market for a float rod.

I have the materials and can repair most breaks on rods depending on where the break is, The tip section is the hardest to repair in most cases you end up with a shorter rod unless the break is on the lower half of the rod. I have been repairing and building fishing rods for a long time now.

Nice, that's good to know . Here's the thread where I describe the break. It's about 2 feet from the tip, away from any of the guides.

I can fix that rod and repair the tip. The action wont be as great as you have to insert a smaller shaft inside to 2 pieces to join them together. But the rod will be useable again. Can also remove and replace the tip guide the proper way
