check out this auger
What does everyone think of this thing?
http://icefishingtoday.com/pages/web_ext...augers.php Looks pretty sweet at first glance. Not sure how it would preform in the long run. Personally, I'd like to see a video of this thing being used to make 20 holes through 24" of ice on a -20C day after being outside for 2 hours... If I saw that video, I'd probably buy one. Seriously. |

I've heard some good buzz about this tool but never got a real review about it. Seems interesting. My dad tried to pick one up at BPS but it was sold out.

From what I've heard you can get a few holes out of them with a 6" auger. I've heard nothing about using them through 2 feet of ice, maybe you'd get one or two holes LOL. You'd have to keep that battery warm too.
