fishing the trent severn
hi all this is my first time on anything like this I joined OSF mainly for my son he is getting into fishing now and we are looking for places to shore fish mainly just north of the Barrie area we do not have a boat my son likes to fish for bass I fish for anything I can catch so I would appreciate any response thank you

I remember when i used to go fishing with my parents, it was more about the trip than actual fishing lol, Google map water bodies that's connected to any river and if you go without expectations you will be rewarded greatly Tongue.

thank you oldtimer for your reply I did not have a lot of time when I was signing in I am 67 yrs old my son is25 I gave up fishing 35 yrs ago my son believe it or not is just getting into fishing he is the one that got me back in to it we live in elmvale ont so we fish mainly in the Barrie area or the trent severn river so any help we get is greatly appreciated

Cool - My son (he's 29) and I fished together for the first time in 15+ years just recently............. we both loved the day, the water, the loons, the silence, the fish, ........... but mostly- just getting out together........... great lifetime memories can start at any point.

Nothing like fishing with your kids! I have a two little girls and the oldest is about ready to start fishing with me! I have had them out a few times and they love it!
