Line to Leader connections
What do you use? And for which applications?

When snelling hooks, one needs access to both ends of the fishing line. Thus, you'll have to attach your snelled line to your main line somehow.

There are special knots for this like the uni knot, double uni knot, and the nail knot.

One could use a swivel as well, this might be the most common method.

Currently, I'm using a small size 14 snap swivel attached to a triple sugeon's loop at the end of my leader.

try the triple surgeons knot. I learned it from a fly fishermen. It is easy to learn but slips easily unless you do it properly

RE: Line to Leader connections
I have started making knotless snelled hair rigged hooks for Carp fishing and finishing them with a small swivel at the end of the leader.

RE: Line to Leader connections
I use a uni knot to snell hooks. Easy to tie and yet to have one fail on me.

As mentioned, the uni knot is also a great knot for connecting lines with the uni-to-uni.
