Hey guys,

Andre and I want to get a group together to fish the Humber River on a Sat or Sunday. We know of the Old Mill fishing spot, but neither of us have been there before.

Let us know if you'd like to join in!

We can make it a nice relaxing afternoon of carping.

I would be up for this! I can get the subway along from my end of town.

Need some advice on what gear to bring, never tried carp fishing before.

I would be interested in something like this. It would be nice to meet others on the forum

Very simple. I use my regular setup (6 or 8 lb mono), about 160-200 yards on the spool. That's more than enough unless you're on big open water.

I'll have some carp bait to share. Just canned corn, white bread, or dough works just as well.

Of course, that's just what I use. I'm sure people employ more purpose-built systems.

Then just some hooks and line Tongue
