WOW 3-4 LBS That's awesome.

BTW I meant what other species of fish are available in Swan Lake. I already know Carp, Catfish, Rainbow Trout and Bass, are there any other fish species in there?

Thanks,

This'll be interesting next summer, deep jigging for rainbows LOL Tongue

It's a really nice area, I just checked it out a few weeks ago after I read this post. I can't believe it's been here all this time around the corner and I never checked it out!
Ive been fishing it since i was 9 years old, Riding my bike through farm trails....

It is a former gravel pit...

youll notice the hills on the north side, there are trees that are growing out of the toop of the hill that are actually barried 30 feet,

the trees growing out of the top of that hill is what a forest canopy would look like.
I watched them get barried....

Lots of memories for me as a child before any paved road was built above 16th ave in this area.

Indeed it's about that time of year. I'm waiting for everything to warm up so I can stand being outside without my float suit on...

Another strong bite of winter right now... but hopefully it'll warm up soon!
