My boat is stuck at Simcoe, so I am going to probably hit Long Shoal hoping for a miracle. Simcoe has not been kind to me this year. |

I find that this year is quite strange as far as temperatures go. Went to Dunnville yesterday, targeted some catfish. Water was 28 degrees C, which to me is completely crazy. |

I once caught a lamprey on some roe for rainbow. Just a lamprey by itself which was completely random. Did pull in some salmon and sturgeon with those things attached. |

Looks like a regular drop shot, I only use one hook and do tie it to the main line, those hooks on the small leaders - I can just feel how quickly it will get tangled with the main line. |

Ok, carp it is. My kid caught this one by himself. Took him about 10 minutes to bring him in. I basically had to cast and make sure he won't fall in. June 2nd, Ajax, Ontario:
