oh ok thanks but anyways I never keep my fish, I'm 100% catch n release I yell a people when I see them keep their bass or sturgeons

I have used frogs for pike too, I already caught a pike on a kind of senko brown worm but that was random, I usually fish for pike with swimbaits

Ageee with all, been using shimano citica for 1 year now, and yeah it takes a while to learn but once you know how it works you can switch from the 2 type of rods without problem

I don't know why so many shore anglers use the firetiger color but I don't seem to catch much stuff on that, usually for cranks ill use natural colors, white, yellow, or BLACK. well

If you are scared to lose your lures and all when you are shore fishing, you can use topwaters in summer. I've used the same rapala popper for 4 years, it has no more color on it and still catches sma...

Thanks all, Old Timer do you mean there are not many sturgeons in Ontario? I'll try to find some pics but they aren't big at all, I'll post in new thread or something..
