Cheap, convenient retractable pull-cable clips!
Steelhead season is looming... or already here...
This year I've realized the huge convenience of using one of these things for your line clippers. It's saved tonnes of time previously spent reaching into my pocket or bag. I just ordered a bunch more for other fishing gadgets that I can clip to my belt. http://dx.com/p/convenient-retractable-b...r=52736955 I'm not sure how much brand-name ones cost at fishing stores. |

Not sure...seems like every Dollarama is a little different. I saw them at the College Park location a while ago.

RE: Cheap, convenient retractable pull-cable clips!
The problem with these is that the string is made of nylon or cotton. They evenutally break right at the tip. They are handy, I use them for forceps and my knot tier. But the ones I have use a wire instead of nylon. I'd hate to lose either my forceps or knot tier.

Thanks for the heads up, you may have just saved me some gear . What is a knot tier ? |
